Our client is a private equity firm targeting opportunities throughout the capital structures of real estate, related assets and asset-intensive businesses that recently launched an industrial outdoor storage operating platform.
Due to the rapid growth of the company's IOS portfolio ($600mm+ acquired in four years) and a further goal of tripling its asset base over a similiar timeframe, leadership recognized the need to upscale its executive team to keep pace with that expansion. SCI was retained to conduct its eighth search assignment for the client, this time for a very senior-level asset management professional to lead the existing team in overseeing the portfolio.
The search was successfully completed with the placement of an SVP of Asset Management with prior experience overseeing portfolios for two multi-billion dollar real estate private equity fund investors/managers.
