Due to increasing complexities increasing complexities of its rapid growth (from zero to 1,000+ units in three years), the company's leadership determined that an experienced in-house counsel was required. SCI was retained to recruit an individual to oversee all legal activities related to corporate governance, real estate development, financing transactions, acquisitions/dispositions, litigation, and insurance and risk management, while simultaneously contributing to the company’s development and its achievement of its strategic goals. .
The assignment resulted in the successful placement of an attorney specializing in full-service representation of for-profit and not-for-profit developers of workforce and affordable multifamily housing.
